CAPACITY BUILDING FOR YOUTH WORKERS FROM BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, SLOVAKIA, SERBIA AND ALBANIA

In the period  8th to 14th April, 2022, a six-day training was held in Košice (Slovakia) for youth workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Serbia, and Albania.

The training was attended by a total of 40 youth workers from these countries. The topic of the training was "Competences of preparing and leading peer education".

The Agenda included developing self-awareness of participants personal and cultural identity, appreciation for socio-cultural diversity, empathy, critical thinking, communication skills, recognising own and others prejudices/stereotypes and their manifestations, planning worshop, fascilitation skills, evaluation and follow up. 

The activity was realized within the project “ACT4ROM – Action for Roma participation, entrepreneurship, employment, and empowerment”. The project implementation period is October 2020 – October 2022.

The project is implemented by the International Association “Interactive Open Schools” (MIOS) Tuzla in cooperation with partner organizations of the project: Partners per Femijet (Albania), Help for Children (Serbia), and Dokoran School, Wide Open School (Slovakia).

The project is implemented under the Erasmus + program and is funded by the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture, which operates under the authority delegated by the European Commission.
